The Innovative Manufacturing in Africa Project is seeking applications for the Innovative Manufacturing in Africa Awards, which will support research and innovation capabilities in the hardware maker innovation ecosystem in Ghana, Kenya, and South Africa. They are looking for 9 makerspace leaders who represent under-represented or marginalized groups in these countries, and each recipient will receive an award of $19,000. Interested individuals can apply online, and the deadline for priority consideration is February 24, 2023.
The awards aim to strengthen the hardware maker innovation ecosystem and its research capacity in Africa.
