2021 saw the debut of the Open Know-Where (OKW) standard, which was developed by the IOP Alliance. On June 23rd, the IOP celebrated the first anniversary of the OKW Standards by holding a webinar in honour of the occasion. During the webinar, attendees received up-to-date information on the OKW standard-based mapping exercise that had been carried out in Somalia and Somaliland.
They were also informed of the OKW Data award winners and participated in an engaging breakout session that focused on conceptualising how the data could be used.
