IoPA February Community Call: Knowledge Frameworks - Valueflows and OKF Visual Vocabulary
We are excited to invite you to our community call today on Knowledge Frameworks and Vocabularies to support the exchange of resources in networks that support distributed manufacturing. Our guest speakers, Lynn Foster and James Butler will share their insights on initiatives that support open supply chain ecosystems.
Lynn Foster, from Mikorizal, will discuss her work with Valueflows, a vocabulary that supports the coordination of the creation, distribution, and exchange of economic resources in economic networks. Her presentation will highlight the importance of having a common vocabulary to facilitate communication and collaboration in distributed manufacturing networks.
James Butler, from Helpful Engineering, will discuss his work with the Open Knowledge Framework (OKF) Visual Vocabulary and demonstrate how it can help articulate a dynamic supply chain request. He will share how the OKF visual vocabulary provides a standard for describing and visualizing supply chain data that can help improve transparency and efficiency.
We invite you to join us from 04:00 PM - 05:00 PM UTC to gain valuable insights into the role of knowledge frameworks and vocabularies in supporting distributed manufacturing. This event promises to be a thought-provoking and insightful discussion with two leading experts in the field.
We look forward to seeing you there.
